This photo brings me so much joy! I met Julian and Emily a few months back while we attended the @ventureworkshop in Oregon. It was a workshop for wedding videographers and it literally brought in people from around the world. Emily and Julian came all the way over from Australia! They are back in the states for the next month road tripping around the country and I was so lucky to be able to hangout and photograph them on their first leg of the trip here in New York!! They are such beautiful people and extremely talented cinematographers!! For all you Aussies and Kiwis, do not miss these guys!! But really just anyone because they also travel 😉

I am so excited that we will be heading back to Portland in December to capture Biancas brother’s wedding!! Love that our couples love their films so much they refer us to all their friends and family! You guys are the best!

I know I’m a little bit late on the whole Mother’s Day front but currently my dear mother is off exploring Austria and Italy with my father. Love the enthusiasm and sense of adventure they still have for life and one another. Don’t know where I would be without my mom. And all the women who have loved me like their own through the years. I celebrate mothers all over the world whether biological or emotional or spiritual. You all are amazing!!

This weekend’s wedding was full of gorgeous blossoms, amazing whiskey, liege waffles and lots of laughter!

Gosh I love these two! Their love of Ramen, Milk bar and being able to laugh at themselves bonded us instantly! Can’t wait to work on Cedrick & Angela’s beautiful @brooklynwinery wedding!

Found this romantic corner of a courtyard outside the church... and when I say romantic corner...I mean to say we were surrounded by dozens of preschoolers running around squealing in glee as they darted in and out of the shot.🤪 Motohiro and Yumi, you guys were rockstars!

Loved getting to hang out with my friends Andrea and David while I was in Dallas this past weekend! And when I say hangout I mean, make them model in front of my camera!

Loved the mix and match floral dresses from this September wedding. It was a beautiful way to blend in Jade’s Hawaiian heritage with their stylish Portland wedding.

Can we talk about exits for a second?

One of me favorite shots of the wedding day is the exit. The culmination of the entire day leads up to this epic moment where the couple is surrounded by their closest family and friends, the remaining few. The ones who have partied the whole night through and have the raw energy to want it to never end. They tunnel around the couple creating this energy that radiates through the couple eliciting the most genuine of ecstatic responses. That coupled with the moodiness of the night and the vibrancy of sparklers, confetti, bubbles, rice (or in a pinch cell phone flashlights!)

I would highly recommend thinking about a fun, creative exit or even recessional for your wedding day! They are magic!
